Arosa Gay Ski Week – Pride on the Slopes

Each January, Arosa hosts one of the most colourful weeks of the winter season. Arosa Gay Ski Week transforms the resort into a celebration of skiing, diversity and community, attracting guests from across Europe and beyond for seven days of sport, parties and alpine fun.

Now in its 19th year, Arosa Gay Ski Week is the longest-running LGBTQ+ winter pride festival in Europe. The programme blends daytime skiing with après-ski, evening entertainment and themed parties, all set in the welcoming atmosphere of Arosa’s mountains and village.

Days start with guided ski groups for all levels, often stopping for scenic mountain lunches. Afternoons and evenings feature a mix of social events such as the pool party, drag ski race, classical concert in the village church and the popular White Party. International DJs and performers create a lively atmosphere well into the night.

How to Get There from Hotel Altein

Many events take place within a short walk of Hotel Altein. For slope-based activities, walk about 10 minutes to the Arosa–Weisshorn valley station. Evening parties and concerts are usually held in central venues or hotels, all within 5 to 15 minutes on foot from the hotel.
