AmItalia – A Summer of Italian Cinema & Culture in Crans-Montana

Experience Italian art, history, and fashion—through film.
This summer and fall, Crans-Montana becomes a stage for Italian culture with the AmItalia Film Series, presenting four exceptional films celebrating iconic Italian figures. Curated for their artistic and emotional impact, each film is shown in Swiss premiere, accompanied by insightful presentations from notable cultural experts and family members of the protagonists.

Crans Montana Screenings (all in Swiss premiere):

• 20 July 2025 – Gualtiero Marchesi
  The visionary chef who transformed Italian gastronomy. With an introduction by Enrico Dandolo, President of the Gualtiero Marchesi Foundation.
• 24 August 2025 – Leopoldo Pirelli
  A film about Italy’s last great industrial captain. Presented by Alberto Pirelli, his son and chairman of Milano&Partners.
• 7 September 2025 – Gianni Versace
  From Reggio Calabria to global fashion icon. Presented by fashion journalist Stéphane Bonvin.
• 12 October 2025 – The Poet and the Dictator
  D’Annunzio vs. Mussolini, a dramatic portrayal of politics and poetry. Presentation by literature professor Martin Rueff.
